Biografia - Cliff Jones

  Cliff Jones has split his career between industry and academia. He is
currently Professor of Computing Science at Newcastle University in theUK.
  His main research has been in formal methods for developing computer
systems and he  played a major part in the development and dissemination
of the "Vienna Development Method" (VDM) both while at IBM Vienna and after
when Professor at Manchester University. Cliff's recent interests have
turned to broader issues of dependability such as how to design systems
which tolerate errors (including those of users). He has published ten
books and many papers, is a Fellow of the ACM.
